Dwight Howard isn’t just talking the talk; he’s backing up his words by not only committing to play in Taiwan but also becoming a partial owner of the team Taiwan Mustangs.

“Last year after the first game I played in Taiwan I looked over at Mu Real and said, ‘Man, I’m going to start my OWN league one day where former NBA players, top college recruits and elite international players can still get a stage to showcase to the world how great they are. He looked at me crazy but one day is NOW!” Howard wrote on Instagram.

At 38, he’s continued his basketball career abroad since his last NBA stint with the 2021-22 Lakers. As a prospective Hall of Famer, Howard is actively seeking to entice other players to join him in this venture.
