NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang made a notable trip to Taiwan this year, attending Computex 2024 and meeting key tech partners in the country.
During his visit, Huang was interviewed by local media and mentioned that NVIDIA’s annual growth surpasses $100 billion, largely driven by various GPUs and AI GPUs, most of which are manufactured in Taiwan. He highlighted that AI applications have significantly benefited Taiwan, allowing Taiwanese companies to thrive in the AI wave, according to CNA.
Huang stated that the AI era marks a new beginning, one that NVIDIA has been preparing for over a long period. He praised Taiwan’s technology industry for its strong commitment to AI’s future, expressing his delight in witnessing this dedication.
The NVIDIA CEO noted that the company’s partners are actively launching new products and emphasized that NVIDIA’s operating growth exceeds $100 billion, with the majority of production taking place in Taiwan. Despite facing strong competition, Huang reiterated that NVIDIA remains the market leader, not a follower, dominating the AI GPU sector.
Huang also advised young people to “enjoy the game rather than the score,” encouraging them to do their best, choose the right courses in school, complete their homework, and focus on being good students. He assured that the results will follow from their efforts.
